1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TRAVLA's website (travlagh.com) or mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PLUTOSAT Enterprise, the owner and operator of TRAVLA.
2 About TRAVLA
TRAVLA is an intercity travel booking platform that connects passengers with verified transport operators across Ghana. TRAVLA acts as an intermediary — we facilitate bookings but do not directly operate the buses or vehicles used for travel.
TRAVLA is owned and operated by PLUTOSAT Enterprise.
3 Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years of age to use TRAVLA.
- You must provide accurate personal information during registration.
- Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
- You must have a valid phone number and email address accessible to you.
4 Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:
- Provide truthful, accurate, and complete registration information.
- Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
- Notify us immediately at support@travlagh.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
TRAVLA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
5 Bookings & Payments
A booking is confirmed only after successful payment. Pending bookings without payment are not guaranteed and may be released.
- Prices displayed include all applicable fees and are in Ghana Cedis (GH₵).
- Dynamic pricing may apply based on demand, seat availability, and time of booking.
- Payments are processed securely via Paystack. TRAVLA does not store card or mobile money credentials.
- Upon confirmed payment, you will receive a QR-coded e-ticket to your registered email and in-app.
- Your e-ticket is your boarding pass — present it at departure for scanning.
Loyalty points and wallet credits may be applied at checkout subject to the conditions of the Loyalty Programme (see Section 10).
6 Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel a booking through the app up to the departure time. The following fees apply:
- A 15% cancellation fee is deducted from the booking amount.
- The remaining 85% is refunded to your TRAVLA wallet or original payment method.
- Bookings cancelled after the scheduled departure time are non-refundable.
- Bookings with pending payment status may be cancelled at no charge.
Refunds to mobile money or card are subject to Paystack's processing timelines (typically 3–7 business days). Wallet refunds are instant.
TRAVLA reserves the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle breakdown, extreme weather, safety concerns). In such cases, a full refund will be issued with no cancellation fee.
7 Rescheduling
- You may reschedule a confirmed booking to a different date or time on the same route.
- A 5% rescheduling fee is charged on the original booking amount.
- Rescheduling is subject to seat availability on the new trip.
- Rescheduling requests must be made before the original departure time.
- A booking may only be rescheduled once.
8 Passenger Responsibilities
- Arrive at the designated boarding point at least 15 minutes before departure.
- Present a valid QR e-ticket for scanning at boarding. Lost tickets can be retrieved from the app.
- Comply with the operator's luggage policy. Standard allowance is one bag up to 15 kg; extra luggage must be declared at booking.
- Behave respectfully towards fellow passengers, drivers, and staff.
- Do not board under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
- TRAVLA and operators reserve the right to refuse boarding to passengers who violate these rules without a refund.
9 Operator Responsibilities
Transport operators listed on TRAVLA agree to:
- Operate roadworthy, licensed, and insured vehicles.
- Depart at the scheduled time or notify TRAVLA of delays.
- Honour confirmed bookings with valid QR e-tickets.
- Provide reasonable customer service to passengers.
TRAVLA is not liable for the actions or omissions of transport operators. Complaints about operators should be reported to support@travlagh.com.
10 Loyalty Programme
- Earn 1 loyalty point for every GH₵10 spent on confirmed bookings.
- Points are credited upon trip completion or booking confirmation.
- 100 points = GH₵10 redeemable at checkout (maximum 50% of base fare).
- Tiers: Bronze (0–749 pts), Silver (750–1,999 pts, 5% discount), Gold (2,000+ pts, 10% discount).
- Points are non-transferable and have no cash value outside the platform.
- Cancellations result in the deduction of earned points for that booking.
- TRAVLA reserves the right to modify or discontinue the loyalty programme with 30 days' notice.
11 Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Create fake accounts or impersonate another person.
- Attempt to manipulate pricing, seat availability, or booking systems.
- Resell or transfer tickets for commercial gain without written permission from TRAVLA.
- Use automated tools to scrape, access, or interfere with the platform.
- Submit false chargebacks or payment disputes.
- Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
Violation may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
12 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law:
- TRAVLA is a booking platform and is not liable for accidents, injuries, loss, or damage that occur during travel.
- TRAVLA is not liable for delays, route changes, or cancellations caused by operators, weather, road conditions, or force majeure events.
- Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the value of the booking in question.
We strongly recommend passengers take out personal travel insurance for intercity journeys.
13 Intellectual Property
All content on TRAVLA — including the name, logo, design, software, and text — is the property of PLUTOSAT Enterprise and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
14 Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
15 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of TRAVLA after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
